Yesterday, Lady Gaga set Dolby Live at Park MGM at fire with an ICONIC jazz performance! It marked the start of the new leg of shows.
Gaga and Tony introduced me to jazz music back in 2014 with their first duet record "Cheek to Cheek". I think that jazz music is all about the passion and true feelings of love and gratitude. So are my artworks. It's all about love...
Announcement posters concept is based on my vision of Old Hollywood aesthetics. The giant marquee is inspired by Vegas' blinding lights and busy night streets.
Magazine advertisement concept is inspired by retro 80s posters. Original concept was for Gaga to sing to the whole town of Vegas, but then I found this amazing replica of New York that is located next to Park MGM and decided to omage Gaga's hometown, as she does herself during the shows.
Сommemorative lithograph concept is inspired by Andy Warhol's Pop Art paintings. The original concept includes Tony Bennett's sketches of Gaga. It was made to pay my respects to Tony. It also represents Gaga's love and admiration for Mr. Bennett.
These t-shirts were inspired by 80's jazz performers' posters I was able to find during my research for the arts.
